Moving to Toronto Series- Seeing beyond the highrises and traffic

How are you going to survive without your view of the ocean or the mountains?  Well, it will be different in Toronto!

However, in Toronto  even in the heart of the city, you can live by or overlook very large open, natural spaces. Toronto goes beyond the neighbourhood ball park, formal gardens or small patch of green for the children's playground. Many neighbourhoods are tucked in between Toronto's ravines with surpringly open spaces and large natural areas where there are many kilometers of walking or biking trails.
Of course, there is also Lake Ontario, the boardwalk, The Beaches, Toronto Islands and the Martin Goodman Trail where downtowners roller blade, sail, bike, picnic and generally bring the cottage to the city.
